The weather in Dublin

I have been in Dublin for almost 2 months. I am getting used to every different custom here, like language, foods or daily schedule. And the first challenge I have to face is the weather here.

I still remembered the moment I got off the plane. How cold the weather is! 15 hours before, I was sitting in the restaurant of the Beijing International Airport with a chocolate ice-cream, and after I arrived I had to walk in the strong wind a
nd rain with my chocolate brown coat.

Now I know the rainy, the windy or the cloudy day is quite normal in Dublin. It is much different from Beijing. The heavy rain comes and goes in 1 hour in my hometown, however it is always drizzle here for a long time, maybe a whole day and night with super strong wind.

Talk about the wind, I have to say, it is the most horrible thing I met in Dublin.  After my exquisite umbrella which I brought from china broken, I understood why people here holding such a big one in rainy day.

Another difference is the wet weather .on one hand; the winter in Beijing is dry with almost no wind. Even the temperature is lower than Dublin, but the moist air here makes me feel a freezing cold at 5 or 6 o’clock in the morning. On the other hand, the damp air is better for my skin. It is much more important than the cold.

The last thing I want to talk about is the environment. To be honest, the environment here is perfect. The air is clean and the river is crystal. in sunny days, you can’t imaging how beautiful the weather is!

let's enjoy the wonderful view~
